An engine expels the exhaust gas in short pulses. This creates noise in the exhaust line. The silencer reduces this noise before the exhaust gas reaches the open air. At the same time the back pressure for the engine should stay low.
An exhaust silencer is exposed to hot exhaust gas and condensate. Over the years the shell and internals can rust through. Then the noise at the site increases. A new silencer is also needed when an engine is replaced and the old one no longer fits.
We source the new silencer to the dimensions of the old one: overall length, diameter, position of inlet and outlet as well as connections. So it fits the existing exhaust line.
For the same exhaust line we also supply expansion joints, flanges and catalysts.

Engine type and output, the dimensions of the old silencer or a photo of the nameplate, as well as the required attenuation or the sound level at the site. Exhaust gas flow, exhaust gas temperature and permissible back pressure help us, if known. If your part is not on this page, ask us anyway.
